Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find the common areas not well-maintained, with personal belongings scattered around. The distance from local amenities was inconvenient, making it hard to enjoy my stay fully. While the proprietor was pleasant, I felt the overall atmosphere could benefit from more professionalism and organization.

My stay at Archmor House B&B was exceptional! Kathleen and her daughter were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home immediately. The breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a full Irish breakfast that was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients.

I had a pleasant stay with a comfortable double room. Breakfast was included, which is a big plus for me. However, I noticed that there were no restaurants or pubs open nearby during my visit, and I had to cook in the garden, but the proprietor was accommodating about it.

The common areas lacked maintenance, with clutter disrupting the ambiance!!! An extra effort to make the surroundings visually appealing would really enhance the experience!!! Also, the location is quite isolated, making nearby attractions less accessible without a car.

Exceptional host kindness

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Archmor House B&B. Kathleen was a delightful host, going out of her way to assist me, even giving me a ride to the bus stop. The breakfast was excellent, with various options including fresh fruit and delicious cooked dishes.

The host was exceptionally accommodating, offering to show me around the area and ensuring I felt at home. Breakfast options were abundant, with a generous full Irish breakfast cooked to order, truly delicious and energizing for the day. The room was comfortable and had a nice setup, though it felt somewhat isolated from local attractions, making it a bit inconvenient without a car. Additionally, while clean, some common areas could use a little more attention to detail.

Traffic noise from front bedrooms could be bothersome but the breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are very clean!

The room was super comfortable, and I loved that there was fresh milk in the fridge instead of that long-life stuff. I really enjoyed the cozy sitting area and the peaceful garden, perfect for unwinding. Just a heads up, bring your car since it’s a bit of a trek to the local attractions. 🌿
